Single Items and Full Sets
Plenty of our calls are one item: a sleeper sofa the delivery guys wouldn't take, a mattress the city won't collect, a dead refrigerator sitting in the garage since spring. Single-item pickups are quick and cheap, and we'll usually fold one into a route the same or next day. Full-house furniture removal — a whole apartment's worth, a set of bedroom furniture, an office of desks and chairs — is quoted as a load. Either way we quote a flat price by text before we roll.
Stairs, Tight Doorways and Second Floors
This is the part people dread and the part we do daily. Sectionals come apart, recliner backs unclip, doors and door stops come off, and a stair-climbing dolly handles what shoulders shouldn't. We pad rails and corners, protect flooring on the path out, and get a 400-pound armoire out of a third-floor walk-up without gouging the drywall. Apartment complexes in Rock Hill and Fort Mill with elevator time windows and loading-dock rules are routine for us — just tell us the building's rules when you book.
Appliances, Refrigerant and Scrap
Refrigerators, freezers and window units contain refrigerant that has to be handled properly, and we take those to a certified recycler rather than a landfill. Washers, dryers, water heaters, stoves, dishwashers and grills go to a scrap yard, where the metal actually gets reused. Water heaters get drained before they come out so you don't end up with a wet hallway. If an appliance still works, we'll route it to a donation partner instead — say the word at pickup.
Mattresses and Upholstery
York County doesn't make mattress disposal easy, and box springs bound in a plastic bag on the curb often sit for weeks. We take mattresses of every size, box springs, futons, bed frames and headboards, bag them at pickup when there's any bed-bug concern, and deliver them to a facility that accepts them. It's a small job we'll gladly stack onto a bigger one for very little extra.
How Pricing Works
Furniture and appliance removal is priced per item or per load, quoted flat before pickup, with labor and disposal included. Single items are the cheapest way to use us; two or three pieces on the same visit cost barely more than one. There's no upcharge for stairs, tight hallways or second-floor carries — that's part of the job, not an add-on.
